CONCERT

I would like to inform parents and students that the Tunes in June Concert will be held on:

Day: Saturday June 27, 2026
Student Prep Time: 12:45 pm to 1:30 pm (approximately)
Concert Time: 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm (approximately)
Fee: $40 per student
Location: Church of the Transfiguration
Address: 111 Manor Road East (Yonge St. and Eglinton Ave. East)

Student Prep Time:

Students are encouraged to arrive at 12:45 pm to briefly test out the grand piano. Once all the students had a chance to get acquainted with the instrument, we will take a short break and then begin the concert.

Concert Time:

The concert will begin once students have finished their rehearsals. The concert start time will be roughly at 1:30 pm if everything runs according to plan. The recital’s duration should be around 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Benefits of Participating:

1. Gives the student a musical goal to achieve
2. Sets a date to meet expectations
3. A stepping stone to help students develop and combat performance anxiety

Music:

All students must remember to bring their sheet music/books to the concert. Please double check before leaving your home, that the student has everything needed to perform.

Fee:

The fee to perform at the 2026 Tunes in June concert will be $40 per student. This fee will help cover the rental cost of the church, the property insurance for the event, and any musical equipment that is needed for the concert.

Parking:

There is free parking available in the church parking lot. Please note there is limited space available in the lot behind the church. If the parking lot is full, then you may also park on the streets surrounding the church.

Church Regulations:

No food or drinks are allowed within the church.
